Bill was born on December 9, 1961 in Manitowoc, son of Elaine (Horstketter) Bolle and the late Robert Bolle. He was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School and earned a degree in Engineering from UW-Platteville. Much of his career as an industrial engineer was spent at the Lear Corporation and Federal Mogul. Bill was a gifted baseball player who played through high school and college, with a blazing fastball and a wicked curve ball. Bill enjoyed nature and spent as much time as he could enjoying nature, landscaping his property, feeding the variety of birds he attracted, and enjoyed watching the deer in his backyard. Bill was a devout Catholic who knew and loved our Lord. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Manitowoc.
Survivors include his mother: Elaine (Horstketter) Bolle; ten siblings: Craig (Joan) Bolle, Marilee (Jerry) Miller, Julie (Dave) Schroeder, Bob Bolle, Jeanne Bolle, Linda Pitz, Cheryl (Rick) Warrens, Gary (Laurie) Bolle, Christine (John) Hollman, Connie (Bruce) Byom; and 40 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Other relatives and friends further survive. He is preceded in death by his father: Robert Bolle, an infant sister: Judy Bolle; one brother: Ron Bolle; one brother-in-law: Erich Pitz, Manitowoc; and one nephew: Alex Schroeder; and his grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand (1416 Grand Ave), Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Doug LeCaptain, assisted by Fr. Jose Lopez, with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, Manitowoc, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
