George Penich of 928 Alexander Ave., Monessen, died suddenly at work at the Monessen plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co at noon yesterday. He was 64.
Mr. Penich, a foreman in the open hearth department, collapsed in a tunnel leading to the department. He was pronounced dead at the plant hospital.
A resident of Monessen for 46 years, Mr. Penich was a member of the Croatian Club and the Croatian Fraternal Union of Monessen. He also held membership in the Slovene National Benefit Society.
