Our loving father Alfredo Colunga Esparza was born on June 29, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas. Alfredo C. Esparza was called home to be with our Lord on October 11, 2021 at the age of 79.
Alfredo is preceded in death by his parents, father, Esteban Esparza; mother, Rita Colunga Esparza; and his wife Delia Esparza. He was survived by his sons, Alonzo Christopher Esparza Sr., (Viola Esparza), Israel Esparza, William Lee Esparza, daughters, Elizabeth Ann Esparza, Jennifer Lee Moreno (Paul E. Moreno), Felicia Esparza (Duke Jeff Kennedy); grandchildren, Alonzo Christopher Esparza Jr., Marcos Ryan Rivera (Lexi Rivera), Deliah Reyanne Lopez, (Joe-Eric Lopez), Cristella Esparza, (Augustine Rendon), Paul E. Moreno Jr., Rayeann Moreno, Kayla Marie Settles, Brandon Lee Rivera, Jeremiah Moreno, Rebecca Moreno, Carter Lee Kennedy; great grandchildren, Ocean Grey Rivera, Selah Glory Rivera, and Leah Joy Lopez.
Alfredo was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved all his children very much, and all his grandchildren and great grandchildren held a very special place in his heart. He was strong in his faith and lived his life through his savior Jesus Christ. He started everyday by reading his Bible and studying the word of God. He was a family man who never gave up on his children and was very proud of all of them. He enjoyed going to church and sharing the gospel, selling and purchasing cars and working at the courthouse. He also enjoyed Tejano music, dancing and traveling. Dad, we will always remember the warmth of your love and your smile.
