Angelo Paternostro, age 93, of Goodyear Ariz., entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 14, 2007 with his loving family by his side . He was the son of the late Donato and Giconda Paternostro. He was the widow of the late Mary (Guerrera) Paternostro. He was an area resident many years before moving to Arizona in 2000. Survivors include two sons, Arthur Paternostro and his wife, Carol, of Easton, Anthony Paternostro and his wife, Nancy, of Stratford; a daughter, Lucy Hungerford and her husband, Arthur, of Arizona; six grandchildren, Paul and Karen Hungerford, Melissa Paternostro, Anthony Paternostro, Michael Paternostro and Mathew Paternostro; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Alessa Hungerford. He is predeceased by two brothers, Danny and Nicola Paternostro; and a sister, Domenica Simeone. Services will take place on Tuesday September 18, 2007 at 10 a.m. Directly in St. Margaret Shrine 2539 Park Avenue, in Bridgeport with a Mass of Christian Burial Entombment will be in St. Michael Garden Mausoleum in Stratford . The Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, is in charge of arrangements.
