CARMI — Lester Lionel Chastain, 87, formerly of Carmi, died Dec. 20, 2007, at his home in Madison, Ala.
He was a custom building contractor and World War II veteran.
Surviving are wife, Dorris; daughters, Judi Randolph, Stephanie Nordyke and Jacque Denny; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services 3 p.m. Wednesday at Big Prairie Cemetery. Campbell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Downtown Rescue Mission, 2411 9th Ave. S.W., Huntsville, AL 35805.
