She was born February 5, 1916 at Emma, the daughter of Sam and Emma Chastain. She married Roy Pavy Smith and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by daughters, Joan Isbell and Jeanne O'Dell, granddaughter, Debra Newton, grandson, Tim O'Dell, great-granddaughters, Chelcy Sudweeks, Allisen O'Dell and Katelin O'Dell and great-great-grandsons, Alexander and Austin Sudweeks, all from the Phoenix area. She was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Carl Chastain and sisters, Dorothy Sturm, Lorene Ashley and Minnie Pool.
