Omer Trimble, 68, retired postmaster of Naomi and a merchant for the past 35 years, died Thursday after an illness of three months.
The son of the late Crawford and Ligeria Trimble, he was born June 26, 1895. He was married to Eula Buchanan November 12, 1914.
Mr. Trimble was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, two children, Mrs. Sophia Floyd, Allen Park, Michigan, and Otha Trimble, South Gate, Michigan; two brothers, Coral Trimble, West Somerset and Veston Trimble, Nancy; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Hugh Shelton officiating. Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
