Benjamin Maurice Graycarek Jr., 91, Green Bay, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021. He was born on June 19, 1930 in Two Rivers to Benjamin, Sr. and Lucy (Brault) Graycarek.

Benjamin graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, Class of 1948. He joined the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. While in the Air Force he ran track. On Thanksgiving Day in 1958, Benjamin married Ione Le Clair in Michigan. He was a lifelong entrepreneur, owning and operating many restaurants throughout the years.

Benjamin was an avid Packer fan and fisherman. Fishing was his life. He loved to play Sheepshead, and to run - having run the Bellin until the age of 75.

He loved and was deeply committed to his children; teaching them integrity and honor, to respect others, work hard, and have a strong faith in God. Benjamin also loved being a grandpa and great-grandpa, often taking them all to Bay Beach.

Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Ione; his children, Terry Canard, Kathy Marschner, Mary (Alan) Brooker, Jane (Randy) Lindgren, John (Mary) Graycarek, Robert (Brenda) Graycarek; grandchildren, Christine, Greg (Amy), Brad (Joy), Chad (Bridgette), Aaron (Claire), Craig (Emily), Christen (Brandon), Dustin (Crystal), Jeremy (Kelli), Jake (Leah), Johnna (Adam), Katie (Jordan), Kimberly (Steve), Bailey, Isaac, Alexis, Cameron, Benjamin; 25 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Graycarek; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Justice; son-in-law, Tom Canard; his parents; and brother, Don Graycarek.

Visitation will take place at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave., from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, October 6; followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. with Rev.
