Mr. Benjamin J. Graycarek, Sr., 88, a resident of North Ridge Care Center,
Manitowoc, formerly of 1500 N. 3rd Street, Manitowoc, died Wednesday, December 7,
1988, at North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and
10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated by Rev. Leo J. Schmitt with burial to follow at Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Graycarek was born June 19, 1900, at Larrabee, Wisconsin, son of the late
Anton and Anna Wanek Graycarek. Mr. Graycarek was an automobile salesman for
several dealerships in the Manitowoc area. He currently was selling specialty
advertising products for Tasco Industries. He married the former Lucy M. Breck??
on August 25, 1923 at Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Mr. Graycarek was a member of Holy
Innocents Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lucy; two sons, Donald (Vivian) Graycarek of
Brookfield, Wisconsin, and Benjamin M. (Ione?) Graycarek Jr. of Elmhurst,
Illinois; two sisters, Agnes Sisler of Two Rivers, and Anne Ferry of Kent, Ohio;
11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends survive.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.
Prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. led by Deacon Paul Kieffer.

Marriage of Benjamin/Lucy Graycarek
The marriage of Miss Lucille M. Brault, daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Edmund Brault, 1610 17th Street and Benjamin Gracarek, Larabee, was solemnized in the presence of immediate relatives at St. Luke's Catholic Church Tuesday morning. Miss Agnes Graycarek, a sister of the groom was bridesmaid and Napoleon Brault, a brother of the bride was best man. Other attendants were Leah Brault and Anton Sobiech.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents which was attended by immediate relatives and friends of the couple. Mr. and Mrs. Graycarek left on a wedding trip to Milwaukee and Chicago. They will make their home at 1610 17th Street and will be at home to friends after Sept. 5. The groom is a salesman for the Ford Garage.
