Survivors include six sons, Jesse L., Aaron L., Robert L. and Ernest L. Armstrong Jr., all of Birmingham, Edward L. Armstrong, Oak Ridge, Tenn., Willard W. Armstrong, Houston, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Lena M. Peoples, Palmerdale; Mrs. Ernestine Morris, Oneonta, and Mrs. Elizabeth Presley, Germany.
