Aurora Lozada, 37, passed away on January 10, 2022, in Georgetown, TX.

Aurora was born on May 27, 1984 in Georgetown, TX to Lucio Chavez and Rosa Chavez.

Aurora was preceded in death by her grandmother, Feliciana Salazar.

Aurora graduated from Georgetown High School in 2002. She worked several years as a Barista Manager at Cianfrani Coffee Shop in Georgetown, on the square.

Aurora was married to the love of her life, Gerardo Lozada and they had one daughter - Julia Lozada.

Aurora loved reading and listening to audio books, shopping, cooking and spending time with friends and family. Aurora collected and loved dreamcatchers, wolves, books, giraffes, and her favorite color was purple. She was very strong, relentless, never gave up and always stayed positive and touched many lives. She lived everyday to the fullest.

Aurora was a loving mother, devoted wife, sister, aunt and friend. She was very social and enjoyed being around people. She was outgoing, positive, energetic, spoke her mind and most of all loved keeping in contact and talking with all of her friends. She touched many lives. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include Gerardo Lozada - spouse, Lucio Chavez - father, Rosa Chavez - mother, Julia Lozada - daughter, Manuel Salazar - brother, Erlinda Chavez - sister, Israel Chavez - brother, Sara Gonzalez - sister; 10 nieces and nephews - Scarlet, Giselle, Lucio, Andrea, Joah, Jaden, Leo, Javier, Momo, Jose and various other family members and many friends.

Aurora will be laid to rest in Jarrell, TX on Friday, January 14th.

To honor her life, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
