Mr. Charles Johnson, Sr. was born on April 19, 1929 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Charles Lester Johnson & Rachel Dunton. He was eldest of two children and was known by his family & friends as "Charlie" and "Dirty Deeb". What a great character he was.

Mr. Charles departed this life on January 13, 2022.

He attended Harrisburg Public Schools, thereafter, moved to Philadelphia, PA at the age of 19 and worked at Food Fair Warehouse for 31 years. He finally retired after 51 years in the workforce. Mr. Charles also did janitorial work and was promoted as District Supervisor. For a period, he lived in Burlington, NJ.

Mr. Charles was a very talented man, he was a great artist, he displayed his talent with pencil and oil painting, one of his favorite things to do was playing cards and talking trash. He was an outstanding grill master, when cooking, he could show you a thing or two.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife Mrs. Norma Dolly Johnson.
