Roger Abucewicz, 73, of New Britain passed away peacefully at his home on January 15, 2022 with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Maciag) Abucewicz. Roger was born in New Britain on August 30, 1948, son of the late Adolf and Wanda (Toenniges) Abucewicz. He was a lifelong New Britain resident and devote member of Sacred Heart Church. Roger led a successful 45 year career as an Electronic Technician at Kaman Aerospace, formerly Raymond Engineering. Roger was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend; a true family man. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Roger's family on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Burritt Hill, 332 Burritt St., New Britain. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, New Britain. Burial will be private.
