Ruth was born on April 23, 1938 in Poteau, Oklahoma to George Henry and Grace Lee (Ray) Neeley. She passed away on January 18, 2022 at her daughter's home in Pryor surrounded by those she loved.
Ruth grew up and attended school, as a child, in Heavener then later attended high school in Ardmore. She was married to Vonnie Walling and from their marriage came three children.
Ruth worked at the Yarn Mill in Pryor, Gardner-Denver, which is now American Castings and Protein Technologies which is now Solae. She retired from Protein Technologies after 20 years.
In her spare time, she enjoyed raising chickens, working puzzle books and reading her bible. She was a past member of Northstar Church in Pryor where she loved greeting at the door and helping in the food pantry but in her most recent years, she attended Blue Springs Church in Salina.
Ruth was a wonderful mother, grandma and grammy and she will be missed by all those who shared in her life.
She is survived by her three children, Mickey Walling and wife Susan of Skiatook, Roger Walling and wife Lisa of Pryor and Vonda Weaver and husband Sherman of Pryor; eleven grandchildren, Amanda Becnel and husband Josh of Broken Arrow, Cody Couch and wife Tiffany of Chouteau, Jennifer Richardson and husband Justin of Pryor, Bailey Weaver of Pryor, Kip Weaver of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Leslie Thomas of North Carolina, Bayleigh Walling of Skiatook, Emyleigh Walling of Skiatook, Kacie Dawes and husband Trent of Claremore, Brittany Burnett and husband Zach of Bentonville, Arkansas and Jake Walling of Texas; nine great grandchildren and one sister, Inez Wilbanks and husband LG of Claremore.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Seaman and Dean; two sisters, Rose Ellen and Irene, former husband, Vonnie Walling and grandson, Dustin Walling.
