My cousin Lew. I saw him and Bernice last a few years ago when we met for lunch. He was a great guy. He took me flying in his Piper Cub and got me a ride with a friend of his in a glider. We talked airplanes a lot. He came to my dad's funeral. I find it hard to believe he's gone now. RIP Lew. I miss you.

Lewis (Lew) Levison of Jackson, NJ, age 85, passed away on January 27, 2022, beloved husband of Bernice Samuels Levison, devoted father of Sara Levison Golden and Amy Levison and dear brother of Rachel Levison Markowitz, predeceased by his brothers Norman Levison and William Levison, and grandfather to Spencer and Aliza Golden. Lew was born in Beach Haven, NJ on May 22, 1936 and attended Beach Haven Elementary School, Barnegat High School and Ryder College.

He served 4 years in the US Air Force. Besides his love for family, Lew had a love of aviation. He was a private pilot and enjoyed being at the local airport. He was a collector of WWII aviation memorabilia and had a vast knowledge of aviation history. Lew was a gregarious guy and had many friends. He will be missed by many.
