LINCOLN - Harold Ray Swinford, 57, of Hartsburg passed away December 22, 2007, in Chicago while on his truck route.
Funeral services will be at noon Monday, December 31, 2007, at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln with burial to follow in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2007, until the time of service at the funeral home.
Harold was born May 5, 1950, in Kaiser, Ark., to the late Harmon Lihugh and Ila Christine (Carter) Swinford. He married Ruby Voyles on October 10, 1970.
He was employed with Davis Brothers Trucking for several years.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby, of Hartsburg; three daughters, Angie Doolin (Rick) of Atlanta, Lisa Gaston (Bob) of Atlanta and Amanda Swinford and fiance, Mark Stoltzenburg, of Lincoln; son, Steve Swinford (Jennifer) of Hartsburg; five sisters, Barb Redding of Bragg City, Mo., Sue Miller of Sikeston, Mo., Hope Hatton of Malden, Mo., Judy Swinford of Benld and Carol Swinford of Campbell, Mo.; five brothers, Eugene Carter of Poplar Bluff, Mo., James Swinford of Hartsburg, Ricky Swinford of Malden, Mark Swinford of Licking, Mo., and Dwight Pavy of Malden; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Sheola, and brothers Harmon and Mikel.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
