Joe Brasseal, of the Improve Community in Mississippi, passed from this life into God's presence on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the age of 78. He was born in Orange, Texas to J.D. and Myrtie Brasseal and has been a lifelong resident of Improve. Joe loved music and was a member of The Back Porch Blue Grass Band for many years. He was a loving, caring, God fearing man of faith who will be remembered for his great sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jimmy Brasseal and Jerry Wayne Brasseal; two daughters, Melissa Brasseal and Renee Brasseal; three sons, Mike Brasseal, Keith Davis I, and Keith Davis II; four grandchildren, Anita Merritt, Anthony Davis, Amanda Davis, and Naomi Davis; and his wife, Brenda Brasseal. Joe is survived by a daughter, Shellie (Eddie) House; a son, Stefon (Amanda) Davis; three sisters, Margaret Dyess, Cherry Lynn Bryant, and Judy Harold; one brother, Kenneth (Mary Ann) Brasseal; sixteen grandchildren, Tiffany (Chris) Loper, Kayla Brasseal, Blake (Nadia) Brasseal, Candace House, Cody House, Christina Davis, Arron Davis, Amber Davis, Samantha Davis, Marilyn Davis, Katelyn (Sam) Aultman, Alex Davis, Sebastian Davis, Wyatt Davis, Damon Davis, and Brandon Davis; and 27 great-grandchildren. The funeral service for Joe will be at Mount Gilead Baptist Church on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 12:00pm. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00am until service time. Burial will follow in the church cemetery assisted by Alex Davis, Damon Davis, Sebastian Davis, Chris Loper, Eddie House, and Cody House serving as pallbearers
