Minnie T. Bennett
BLOOMFIELD – Minnie T. Bennett, 77, died Saturday at 1:40 p.m. at Davis County Hospital.
She was born in Lancaster, Mo., July 7, 1897, to William B. and Nancy Catherine Coons Sloop. A Bloomfield resident most of her life, she was affiliated with the Christian Church at Lancaster, Mo., and the Royal Neighbors of America.
She married Elbert Andrews. He preceded her in death. She then married Leonard Bennett, who also died earlier.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Hazel Greene of Bloomfield; one son, William Leo Andrews of Davenport; four grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death, by two brothers and two sisters.
The service will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Wagler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Allen officiating. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Lancaster, Mo.
The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service.
A memorial has been established payable to the diabetic association.
The funeral had been scheduled for this morning, but was postponed due to weather conditions.
