Dorothy Marie Baker, 99, of Manitowoc passed away peacefully on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Laurel Grove Assisted Living.
Dorothy was born on December 31, 1922 in Seattle, WA to Raymond and Ann (Flegel) Hall. Dorothy worked for the Paragon Company of Two Rivers for 20 years until her retirement. Dorothy was a member of the Eagle's Club for 60 years and was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed going to the Senior Center, playing sheephead, and crocheting.
Dorothy is survived by her three sons: Don (Jane) Bonfigt of Shoto, Larry (Lynn) Bonfigt of Manitowoc, and Ed (Mary) Bonfigt of Waubeno; six grandchildren: Kathy (Mike) Brown, Crissy (John) Liska, Lyle (fiancé Melissa Paure) Bonfigt, Lori (Sara Cadmas) Bonfigt, Nicole (Chad) Boeder, and Lana (Jeremy) Stradel; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister: Eleanor Steuer. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands: Raymond Bonfigt, Fred Manlick, and Rolland Baker; infant son: Paul Bonfigt; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Martha (Francis) Fierstein, Matilda (Clifford) Gilbert, and Dolores (Ben) Bonfigt; one brother-in-law: Robert Steuer.
A funeral service to celebrate Dorothy's life will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th Street. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Mishicot. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm.
