He was married in 1867 to Laura McDONALD d/o J.D. McDONALD. In 1859 he entered the store of S.L. TILLEY, now Lt. Gov., to learn the drug business. His father afterwards purchased Mr. Tilley's business and in 1870 he was taken into partnership with his fathers and brothers. A few years ago, Geo. A. BARKER took charge of the retail branch.
