Born in Garfield, Whitman, Washington the daughter of C. Glenn Hitchcock and Ethel Izora (Gammon) Hitchcock; wife of Frank M. Crawford; killed in the crash of a private airplane near Embaras Portage, Alberta, Canada and buried at the site along with the others (Frank M. Crawford, Victor Anthony Roach and Earl Mayes) when the plane was found in 1968; children: Mary Margaret "Peggy", Lois, and William Glenn "Billy" Crawford (killed in 1971 in a plane that he was piloting in Northern California)
