Cicero Monroe, a well-known resident of Liberty township, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Julius Benson, near Waldron. He was aged seventy-five years, eight months and seven days. His death was the result of kidney trouble. The deceased was never married and is survived by five brothers, and three sisters -- John Monroe of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, Wesley, William and Andrew Monroe, of this county, and Mrs. Nancy Benson of Shelby township, Mrs. Mary Cage and Mrs. Elisa Farmer of Tipton county, Indiana. The funeral will be held at Winchester church Friday at 10 a.m., the Rev. J. T. Bean officiating. Interment will be in the Winchester cemetery in charge of Stewart & Fix.
