Born January 4, 1908 in Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Watson Robert and Emma Belle Allen Ramsey. Her marriage to the late Robert Holmes, who proceeded her in death on Oct. 24, 1983; took place on June 29, 1957.

Flossie retired from Franklin Electric in 1970 after 18 years of service.
