Graham was born in Wilmington, NC on June 17, 1941 to the late Jack and Ann Batson.

Son, Michael Wayne Batson
Brothers, Tommy and Dale Batson
Graham was owner and operator of Batson Painting of Monroe, NC and in his spare time enjoyed "Wetting a Hook" at the local ponds and the NC Coast where he would stay all day sometimes catching, and releasing the fish or not catching any.
Graham is survived by his son Roger Batson, a special friend, Ms. Shirley Ann Steele, whome he loved very much, sisters, Kaaren Moore (Melvin); Sandra Helms (Frankie) and brothers Kenneth Batson (Frances); Bill Batson (Tootsie) and Stacy Batson.
A private gathering of family members will be held on Saturday, February 26th, from 11 AM until 12 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude's Hospital, Hospice of Union County, or your favorite charity.
