Elizabeth C. "Sue" Lang, age 82, a Manitowoc resident, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Elizabeth was born February 15, 1940, to the late Florean and Marigen Kleiber. She attended Lincoln High School and graduated with the class of 1958. On February 7, 1959, Elizabeth married Dennis Lang at St. Paul Catholic Church in Manitowoc. Together with her husband they started Lang's Appliances in 1971, which is still in the family. Sue loved painting, especially with her kids and grandkids, and camping at their permanent campsite at either Mapleview or Devil's River. She did monthly games of dominoes with the St. Paul girls. Sue loved to entertain and have parties, especially at Christmas time, above all she loved her family. She was well known for her beautiful smile and contagious laugh.

Survivors include her husband: Dennis Lang, Manitowoc; son: Steven Lang, Valders; daughter: Karen (Joe) Coppens, Manitowoc; grandchildren: Amy (Michael) Jageman, Golden, CO, Dr. Elizabeth (Eric) Paulson, Jackson, WI, Cristin (Allen) Rounds, Manitowoc, Adam (Renee) Schweigl, Manitowoc, Samantha (Matt) Reed, Manitowoc, Sgt. Jeremy (Jasmine) Schweigl, Manhattan, KS, Alexander Phillip, Two Rivers, Benjamin (Amanda) Lang, Fredonia and Nicholas Zimmer, Madison; great grandchildren: Elizabeth, Elyana, Emma, Audrey, Michael, Julia, Grace, Quinn, Collin, Aiden, Lauren, Patrick, Coralyn, Ava, and Ethan; son-in-law: Ken Phillip (fiancé Cindy Jageman); two brothers: Fritz (Judy) Kleiber and Jack (Mary) Kleiber, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sue was preceded in death by her daughter: Linda Phillip; parents: Florean and Marigen Kleiber; and in-laws: Sylvester and Helen Lang.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, noon, on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th Street, Manitowoc. The Rev. David Beaudry and Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. The family will greet relatives and friends at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 10:00 am until the time of services at 12:00 pm, noon.

In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated in Sue's name to Lean on Me Lakeshore, Manitowoc.
