The funeral of John Gilmartin, who died last night at his home, 11 Washburn street, will be held Friday morning from the home with a high mass of requiem at 9 o'clock in the Church of the Sacred heart. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the home the preceding days between the hours of 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 pm and to attend his funeral.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Catherine (Long) Gilmartin; two sons, John T. of Elmhurst, L.I., and Bernard P. Gilmartin; five daughters, Mary A. and Winifred F. Gilmartin, Margaret C, wife of George F. Power; Anna C., wife of James F. Rourke, and Susan C, wife of Carl Carnazza of New York; three sisters, Miss Catherine Gilmartin and Margaret, wife of Michael Donahue, of this city, and Mrs. Patrick Quinn of Narragansett Pier, R.I. He was an attendant at Sacred Heart church for the last 40 years and a member of the Holy Name society.
