Charles Crawford, age 80, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (March 7, 2022) at his home in Leitchfield.

He was born on April 26, 1941 in Spring Lick, KY, the son of the late Carl and Catherine Goff Crawford.

He retired as a construction worker. He was a hard-working man all his life. He enjoyed the outdoors, tinkering in his garage, trading vehicles, cutting wood, cooking and eating out. He loved to watch basketball. He married the love of his life, Mary Jo Duncan on March 19, 1960. He was a former member of the Carpenter's Union. He was a member and deacon for 30 years at Little Clifty Baptist Church, where he worked during Bible School, cooked for the church breakfast and visited the sick.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Jo Crawford; children, Charles Kevin Crawford and his wife, Melanie and Jennifer Stikeleather and her husband, Glen; three grandchildren, Ashley, Lisa and Brent; two great-grandchildren, Bellannalese and Erickson; one brother, Loy Crawford; several nieces and nephews; his caregiver, Ann Hudson; all his church family; and long-time friends, Doris Harder and Shirley Oller.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by twin brothers, H.C. and A.J. Crawford, Raymon Crawford and Daymond Crawford.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, (March 11, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Gerry Otahal and Bro. Steve Hill will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
