Bernice Murphy - 1927 - 2022
The passing of Bernice (Gladys) Murphy occurred Thursday February 17, 2022 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 30, 1927 in Hoyt NB, she was the daughter of the late Ernest G and Agnes M (Baird) Howe.
Bernice worked in retail for many years with Simms Hardware, Sears and K-Mart. An avid gardener she loved the outdoors and travelling with her faithful pet on her lap.
She was predeceased by her husband Earl Murphy and son Lloyd Murphy (Geneva).
Bernice will be deeply missed by her children; Shirley Ward (Jim), Reginald Cox (Maureen), Linda Cogswell (Dale), Gary Murphy and Anna Murphy, sisters; Ida, Marion Harris, Nellie Schmidt, and Helen Vaughan (David), brothers; Eldon Howe (Lora) and Douglas Howe. As well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
