"Mrs. Julia F. Cullen, widow of E. B. Cullen, late of Waterloo, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alexander C. Martin, in State Street, on Tuesday evening. aged 75 years. Mrs. Cullen was born in Waterloo and had always lived in that village, her maiden name being Julia Fairchild. Her father, the late General Fairchild, was one of the earliest residents of that village. She was a woman of culture and refinement and highly esteemed for her many endearing qualities of heart and mind. Surviving are her two sons, Charles P. Cullen of Lancaster and Edward F. Cullen of Buffalo; and two daughters, Mrs. George Baker of Geneva and Mrs. A. C. Martin of Seneca Falls; and one sister, Mrs. Fannie Fairchild of Waterloo. Interment in Maple Grove cemetery of Waterloo." (
