FERNANDO WRAY DIES
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. today at the Jones Funeral Home in Heltonville for Fernando Wray, 75-year-old retired farmer, who died Thursday morning at Cragmont Hospital, Madison.
Mr. Wray was a native of Monroe County and was born Aug. 5, 1886, the son of Benjamin and Sarah Ann DeFord Wray.
He was married to Shirley O'Neal Wray who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jesse Wray of Franklin and Herschel Wray of Madison; a daughter, Ruth Wray of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Mitchner of Linton and Mrs. Nora Mitchell of Bloomington; four grandchildren and three ggreat-granchildren.
Rev. Herman Bozell officiated at the funeral services. Burial was in the Hickory Grove Cemetery.
