Elsie Frieda Blahnik, nee Hiller, 94 of West Bend, WI passed away Sunday April 3, 2022 at Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, WI.
Elsie was born in Milwaukee, WI on December 8, 1927. She was married to John Frank Blahnik September 11, 1948. They were married 48 years at the time of his death in 1996.
Elsie is survived by her six children; Michael Blahnik, Thomas Blahnik (Yun), Judy van Hende, Suzanne Goff (Chris), Walter Blahnik (Connie) and Ann Zell (Robert), 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, three sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Elsie is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Augusta Hiller, her sister Emma Worachek, two sister-in-laws and many friends.
Elsie enjoyed family gatherings, sewing, crafting, crocheting, quilting, reading, puzzles, bingo, cards and other games. She loved cooking and enjoyed traveling and watching the Green Bay Packers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday April 7th from 4:00-7:00 pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 pm. at the SCHMIDT & BARTELT FUNERAL HOME in Menomonee Falls. Interment will be in Manitowoc, WI.
