In the 1940 Federal Census, Gus was found to be living at the Fond du Lac County Home, Highway 151, Rural Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, at the advanced age of 83. His year of death on a Family Tree found on "Family Search" was listed as 1942. However, no other records could be found to support that date. If there are any ancestral relatives out there that might have this information, feel free to contact me and I will be happy to update his memorial. I wanted Gus to be included in his family's history.
