Journalist, writer and playwright. He moved to Buenos Aires in 1892, where lives two years. After return to Montevideo, working for newspapers "El Nacional", "La Razón" and "El Siglo de Montevideo". His most important works are "M'hijo el Dotor", "Cuesta abajo" and "Gringo". He is considered the most important Uruguayan playwright, and from Latin America too.
