A.B., Dickinson College, 1813; a defender of Fort McHenry, 1814; M.D., University of Maryland, 1817; attended Hotel Dieu, Paris; he was the author of "Letters for the Times," 16mo, Baltimore, 1855, and "A Voice from the South," 12mo, Baltimore, 1861. Died at Baltimore, of Bright's disease, September 2, 1865.
