Harry Schoffstoll, 87, former Madison Township farmer, died Thursday at the home of his son, Col. Louis Schoffstoll at Dallas, Texas, where he had lived in recent months.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at Dallas with interment in Sparkman Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Schoffstoll was born in Clark County, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Burns L. Schoffstoll.

The Schoffstoll families came to the Elbow neighborhood about 1902 when a colony of several other Clark families moved to the Elbow community.

He had served as a member of the Madison Township Board of Auditors for several years.

His wife, Grace, died in 1968.

In addition to his son Louis, he is survived by three brothers, Fred of Oblong, Robert of Bureau, and Roy of Portland, Ore.; and two sisters, Mrs. Rachel Blackford of Loveland, Colorado, and Mrs. Lola Weston of Antler, North Dakota. He is also survived by three grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
