"Schoharie Man Found Dead Alongside Stream - Cleveland Cole, Negro, 44 years of age, was found dead in the cold spring on Spring street in Schoharie Sunday morning. Death resulted from suffocation. He had been to Schenectady the preceding day with a party of friends, it was reported, and Saturday night it is believed that he fell off the small foot bridge into the water and was evidently stunned into unconsciousness by the fall. His body was discovered by Virgil Lawyer who notified the Sheriff. Coroner Dr. W. T. Rivenburgh of Middleburgh was notified and accompanied by Dr. E. S. Simpkins, Coroner's physician, made a verdict of accidental death. Cole was 44 years old and funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon of this week and were conducted by Rev.
