Dee was born on November 25, 1928 in Two Rivers, WI to parents Carl and Helen (Reinke) Fanslau. She married Adelbert "AJ" "Del" Hetue on October 2, 1948 in Two Rivers, WI. Del sang in barbershop, and she enjoyed attending his shows. She continued to attend barbershop shows even after he passed away in 2005.
Delores enjoyed knitting and adult coloring books and was a dedicated Packers and Badger fan. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Madison.
Delores is survived by her children, Marcia (Joe) Loukotka of Austin, TX, Dean (Mary Jo) Hetue of Barneveld, WI; Maureen (John Zika) Hetue of Madison, WI; grandchildren, Rolly Read Jr., Anthony Read, Jackson Hetue, Hannah Hetue; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Aurelia, Anthony Jr., Keenin, Iliana, Devin; great-great-grandchild, Evolette; other loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Helen and George Radey; husband, AJ "Del" Hetue, infant daughter, Corrine; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2022 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Ave., Madison, WI. A visitation will take place at the funeral home one hour prior to the service, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. A private interment will be held at Highland Memory Gardens.
