Indian Campaigns Medal of Honor Recipient. He went by the name Jim and is believed to have been born in the Arizona Territory. He entered the US Army in the Arizona Territory and rose to the rank of Sergeant serving as an Apache Scout. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions during the winter of 1872 to 1873 in the Arizona Territory. His citation reads "Gallant conduct during campaigns and engagements with Apaches."
After his discharge from the United States Army, he disappeared into history. His subsequent life and final disposition remain unknown.
