Near this place lies the body of Grace the wife of the Rev'd Richard Freke A.M. Rector of this Parish who departed this life to the inexpressible grief of her family on the 13th June 1783, aged 73.
Her ever affectionate & afflicted husband has caused this monument to be erected, as a testimony of his gratitude to the best of wives

Also the remains of the above Richard Freke who died August 13th, 1800. Aged 90
A faithful pastor, a sincere friend and a liberal benefactor to the poor
