GRANZOW Ralph Max Herman Died at Hillsdale Manor on November 14, 2001 at the age of 89. Ralph had lived at Hillsdale Manor since 1996, when he moved there after suffering a stroke. He is survived by his daughters, Gail Murray of Walnut Creek and Jean Banks of Hayward; a sister, Vyvynne Sciarrilli of Santa Maria; grandchildren Kathy Banks of Hayward, Michael Murray of Davis, and Julie Brenman of San Francisco; and four great-grandchildren. Ralph was born on March 7, 1912 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, the second of seven children. On October 25, 1939 he married Amelia Sheridan. Together they had four children. Amy preceded him in death in December 1996. He was a pattern-maker at the shipyards in Manitowoc during World War II and later a fireman. He owned a paint, wallpaper and floor covering store in Delavan, Wisconsin and Corpus Christi, Texas before moving to Redwood City, California in 1955. He worked for Conklin Bros. Floor Covering and for San Mateo County before retiring Ralph was active in Mt. Carmel Catholic Church as an usher and a member of the Knights of Columbus and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Friends are invited to attend the funeral service Monday, November 19, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. at Redwood Chapel 847 Woodside Road, Redwood City, CA.
