Emmanuel married Martha Dowling and settled on the south side of the road leading from James Parrish's mill to Samuel Parrish Sr's. Here his first wife died and she lies in the Sam Parish graveyard. The grave is unmarked. When Emmanuel died he was buried in the Beulah Primitive Baptist graveyard on the road leading from Ozark to Daleville. A few years ago Charlie Thrower bought the Emanuel Parish place and moved the living house 100 yards or so, further west on the road and now lives in it there.

James married Anna Dowling. She is buried in the Sam Parish graveyard. James was married a second time to Elizabeth Boddie she died in Texas and James married a third time to a Miss Thompson of Virginia. James is buried north of Waco TX a few miles widow survived the last known of her.

In the old graveyard in the virgin forest a short distance to the northwest are buried:
Samuel Parrish Sr. and his wife
Jack Parrish and Elizabeth parish son and daughter of Hampton Parrish.
Mrs Annie Parrish wife of James Parrish
Patsy Parish wife of Emmanuel Parrish
two negroes and some children and probably others

Let us be a little careful here Samuel Parrish Sr. was a revolutionary soldier. His wife's grave can now be distinguished by parts of the old pickets which were burnt over a year ago. Samuel Parrish is buried on the north side of her grave.
