The family moved to Miami Beach and remained a Floridian until her death. During her formative years, she received a Catholic education from Gesu High School and Barry University. Mrs. Stevens was an accomplished realtor for 40 years and formed lasting friendships with her clients.
Mrs. Stevens was a devout Catholic and volunteered at the Heart Association, Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart and St. Williams Rosary Makers in Naples, Fl. She was a "Eucharistic" Minister & Lector.
Her interests included cooking, playing scrabble and worldwide travel with her daughter who was a Purser with Pan American Airlines.
Mrs. Stevens son, John Stevens III, preceeded her death (1957-August 15th, 2016, Jupiter, FL) and is survived by her daughter; grandchildren.
Internment at Woodlawn Park Cemetery South.

STEVENS, JOHN J., John J Stevens III, 59, our dearly loved son, brother, husband, father and new grandfather, died on August 15th, 2016. John and his wonderful wife Michelle Mishcon were brutally murdered in Jupiter Fl, where they lived. Our John was a superb athlete, fisherman, chef, family man and friend. He loved us and God, and we so loved him. He served in the US Air Force. Our hearts are broken. John is survived by his mother, Helene McLinden Stevens; a son and a daughter; granddaughter; a sister. His father Jack Stevens, died in January 2016.
