Gerri was born June 3, 1959 in Grove Hill, Alabama to the late Fannie Beatrice and James Chapman. Gerri loved spending time with family, sitting by the water and baking. Gerri moved to Buffalo, NY in 1971 with her parents and her sister. In 1981, Gerri graduated with a degree in secretarial science from Bryant & Stratton College. Gerri will be remembered for her beautiful spirit, her dimpled smile and immense love for her family. Relatives and friends are invited to The Mount Aaron Missionary Baptist Church, 540 Genesee Street, Buffalo, New York 14202, on Friday (May 27th) from 10-11 AM. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11 AM.
