Writer, poet and journalist. Also a lawyer and diplomatic, González León was considerated one of the most outstanding Venezuelan writers of the 1960´s and 1970´s, he gained popularity with the novel "País Portátil" (1968.) He also wrote "Las Hogueras más Altas," "Hombre que daba sed," "Viejo," "Hueso de mis Huesos," "Solosolo," "Blanco" and many other novels and poems. During many years he hosted several cultural programs in the Venezuelan T.V.
