Virginia A. Cotman, of Charles City, departed this life January 14, 2008.
She is survived by six daughters, Carla Clayton (Rufus), Katrina Bradby, Colleen Cotman, Kimberley Pleasant (Stacey), Joyce Cotman, and Robin Cosby; four sons, Ernest Cotman Jr., Royce, Christopher and Brent Cotman; 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Brown (Jimmy); brother, Rev. Russell Crawley (Doris); sister-in-law, Martha Crawley; a host of other family and friends.
Remains rested at J. Leroy Charity Funeral Home, Charles City, where family received friends from 6pm to 8pm Thursday. On Friday at 12pm, Mrs. Cotman rested at Little Elam Baptist Church, where services were held at 2pm. Eulogy by Rev. James Johnson. Interment church cemetery.
