In1976, the Chandy family moved to Dubai, UAE, where she began her education. In 1990, she moved to Pune, India, to complete her high school education and begin her college degree. In 1997, she graduated with her MBA. She married Thomas Abraham in December of 1997, and they moved to the U.S. in 1999. After her children were older, she pursued a Master's in Education and began teaching in 2013. She will be missed by her mother; husband, Thomas; two children, Rachel and Joshua; and brother.
