August Pieper, 60, World War I veteran, who made his home at 1042 York street, Newport, died Wednesday at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Ft. Thomas. He leaves his sister, Mrs. Alma Leopold, Newport. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Radel funeral home, Newport. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
