Services for Mrs. Margie Taylor Chapman, age 86, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2 PM Thursday, February 27, 2003 at the McGuire United Methodist Church with Rev. Michi Head officiating. Burial will be in the Twin Cities Memorial Gardens in West Monroe under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe.

Mrs. Chapman was a lifelong resident of Ouachita Parish. She was a member of the McGuire United Methodist Church in West Monroe. She was a former member of the Monroe Garden Club, the Northeast Louisiana Camellia Society and the American Camellia Society.

Mrs. Chapman was preceded in death by her husband, Orland Chapman, and one brother, H. O. Taylor, Jr.

Survivors include two daughters, Cherry Chapman Hynes-McMurrey and husband, L.L. "Butch" McMurrey, Jr., of Brazoria, TX and Sandra Chapman Kaufman and husband, Cecil Kaufman, of Winnsboro, LA; grandchildren, Paul Edwin Hynes Jr., Holly Hynes Carrigan, Jeffrey Chapman Hynes, Kode Kaufman, Kelly B. Kaufman and Alex Lee Kaufman; thirteen great grandchildren.

Mrs. Chapman's grandsons will serve as pallbearers along with Mark Carrigan.

Visitation will be from 5 PM until 7 PM Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Memorials may be made to the McGuire United Methodist Church Building Fund.
