JOHN H. ABE DIES AT HOME ON CHARLES ST
Huber Company Employee Succumbs to Hardening of Arteries

John Henry Abe, 58, machinist at the Huber Mfg Co, died suddenly at 10 o'clock this morning at his home, 122 Charles st. Hardening of the arteris caused his death. Mr Abe had been in ill health for more than a year but had been confined at home only a week. Mr Abe had made his home in Marion for the last 29 years, coming here from Cincinnati. He was born in Newport, Ky, March 1, 1869, and was the son of Ann Mary and John Abe, both lifelong residents of Newport and both now deceased. His marriage to Anna Mary Bartholome, who survives, was solemnized in Newport, April 29, 1895. He was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church, of the Holy Name Society of that church, of Buckeye Eerie, local order of Eagles, and had been employed in the vise, erecting and machine shop department of the Huber. Suviving him with the widow are two daughters, Misses Anita M and Ida Mae at home, and a son, John S Abe of Mansfield, also a sister, Mrs Ernest Blersh of Dayton and two brothers, Fred and William Abe of Newport. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
