Marlow - IMOGENE KENDALL STINNETT, 84, of Marlow, passed away Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, in Marlow.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Marlow, with Bailey Cottrell and Rick Neathery officiating. Burial will be in Marlow Cemetery.
Imogene was born Sept. 12, 1923, in Lindsay, to Leo and Hettie Mahan Kendall. She attended Oakhurst School. She lived in Fletcher before moving to Stephens County 65 years ago. Imogene married Richard Dave Stinnett on Dec. 30, 1939, in Lawton. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1993.
She enjoyed her flowers and garden. Imogene loved to piece together quilts and quilt them. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. She attended Gospel Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include a son, Richard Lee Stinnett and wife Peggy of Bray; three daughters, Myra Ladd and husband Ronnie of Marlow, Faye Sweat and husband Calvin of Duncan, and Kathy Gibson and husband Rich of Faye, Okla.; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ray Kendall and wife Eugunia, and L.C. Kendall and wife Pat, all of Fletcher, and her twin brother, Eugene Kendall and wife Betty of Sterling; and a sister, Delores Smith and husband Adrian of Sterling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Howard Kendall, Howie Kendall, Merle Kendall, and J.C. Kendall; and a sister, Winnefred Crotwell.
Bearers will be Clint Owen, Brad Plemons, Dennis Sweat, Arick Gibson, Travis Gibson and Brendon Gibson.
Honorary bearers are Matt Francis and Woody Elmore.
